Sixth Form Entry Requirements

External applicants to King’s School The Crown Sixth Form are expected to demonstrate strong academic achievement at GCSE or its equivalent qualification.

Applicants would typically be expected to achieve:

•    A minimum of 6 subjects at Grade 7 (A) or above, including English and Mathematics 

•    The minimum entry requirements for their chosen A Level subjects, as outlined in the A Level Prospectus 

•    Fluency in both written and spoken English 

In addition to academic achievement, we welcome students who demonstrate talent, enthusiasm and commitment in areas such as sport, music, drama, art and wider co-curricular activities.

Please note that all offers for entry into Year 12 are conditional upon students achieving the required GCSE or equivalent results. Specific entry requirements and subject conditions will be clearly outlined within the formal offer of admission.
