King’s School The Crown opened in September 2023 in the most prestigious gated community in Cairo, The Crown in 6 October city. This is the first of the King’s College Schools in Egypt for Inspired, the leading global group of premium schools, who are partnering with Palm Hills Developments.

Our Founding Headteacher, Joel Worrall, has an educational career spanning over 20 years in high profile, private schools across three continents.

 

I am incredibly excited to be part of an all-new undertaking in Egypt, where my passion for education and international experience can bring to life King's School The Crown. Our school becomes part of the wider King's College Schools and Inspired Education Group network, comprised of over 111 schools. The King's School The Crown bespoke campus, built by renown developers Palm Hills, is designed to deliver a global education of the highest calibre and promises to become one of the leading schools in Cairo.

The Campus

Caring for each individual child and nurturing their unique blend of talents and abilities is a central strand to the Inspired ethos, which has been reflected in the design of the campus.

King’s School The Crown is built in extensive grounds offering world-class educational and sporting facilities, enabling students to pursue a diverse range of interests. Our purpose-Built Campus of over 40,000m2 located in the heart of Cairo's most prestigious gated community, The Crown, 6th October city. This school will be the first in the region to cater to students from 3 months up to 18 years with state of the art facilities, including: a full football field, 400m athletic track , 25m 8 lane covered swimming pool with learner pool, indoor multi purpose sports hall, outdoor multipurpose courts and a 522 seat Performing Arts theatre.

King’s School The Crown is delighted to be a part of the British Council schools partnership, working with Cambridge to deliver the UK national curriculum through to IGCSE.

The process involved multiple inspections to ensure our new school met the highest standards, from the Egyptian Ministry of Education, Cambridge and the British Council. King’s School passed with flying colours!
